Data Extraction and Custom Analysis

For advanced analysis needs, StarZero Agents has a built-in sandbox that can run custom calculations on your content. The important thing to know: you don't need to write any code. Just describe what you want, and StarZero Agents handles the rest.

What This Enables

The sandbox lets StarZero Agents go beyond conversational answers and produce real, tangible outputs:

• Structured data extraction from your entire library
• Downloadable reports and spreadsheets
• Interactive charts and visualizations displayed right in the chat
• Batch processing -- apply the same analysis to every video in your library

Extract Data Across Your Library

• "Extract all speakers and their quotes from every video in my library"
• "List every product mentioned across all my videos with the video name and timestamp"

Create Reports and Spreadsheets

• "Create a spreadsheet listing every topic discussed across my library, with video names and timestamps"

How It Works

When you make a request like this, StarZero Agents:

1. Understands what you're asking for
2. Writes and runs the necessary code behind the scenes
3. Delivers the results to you -- as a chart in the chat, a downloadable file, or formatted text

You'll see the results appear in the chat. Downloadable files (like spreadsheets) will have a download link you can click.

Your Artifacts Are Saved and Persistent

Data artifacts and reports created through the sandbox are automatically saved to persistent storage. This means they survive session restarts — you won't lose your results if you close the browser or come back later.

Each analysis in the chat shows a Relevant Artifacts section listing the data files and reports associated with it. From there you can:

• Download files directly using the download button next to each artifact
• Copy the artifact key using the clipboard icon — then paste it into a different chat to reference that artifact in a new session. Copy buttons inside sandbox widgets (like "copy to clipboard" in generated reports) also work seamlessly.
• Reference results in follow-up questions ("Based on that spreadsheet, which video has the most product mentions?")
• Ask StarZero Agents to refine or update a previous report

Version History

When you ask StarZero Agents to update a data artifact (for example, "add a new column to that spreadsheet" or "update the ratings"), the previous version is automatically saved. This means you can safely refine and iterate on reports and extractions without worrying about losing earlier results — StarZero Agents keeps a history of past versions behind the scenes.

Sharing Artifacts Publicly

HTML widget artifacts — like interactive charts, visualizations, and reports — can be shared via a public link. Click the Share Link button on any HTML widget in the chat to open the sharing dialog. From there:

1. Toggle the Public link switch to enable sharing. The link is automatically copied to your clipboard.
2. Copy the link any time using the copy button next to the URL.
3. Turn sharing off to revoke access. Anyone who had the link will no longer be able to view the artifact.

The shared page displays your artifact in a sandboxed viewer with a small StarZero Agents header. Social media platforms will show a preview image when you paste the link.

Only HTML widget artifacts (charts, interactive reports, visualizations) support public sharing. Other artifact types like spreadsheets and data files cannot be shared this way — download them and share the file directly instead.

Using Artifacts Across Chats

Every artifact has a unique key (shown in the Relevant Artifacts section). Copy the key and mention it in any other chat to pull in previously generated data — even in a completely different session with a different video project. This makes artifacts a powerful way to share extracted data across your work.

This is especially useful for library-wide extractions that take time to produce. Run the extraction once, then reuse the results in any chat where you need them, without re-running the analysis.

Tips

• Be specific about the output format you want. Say "as a spreadsheet" or "as a chart" if you have a preference.
• Start small, then scale up. Try your analysis on one or two videos first, then apply it to your full library once you're happy with the approach.
• Combine with other analysis. Use summaries or scene detection first to understand your content, then use the sandbox for structured extraction.
