Watermark and Credits

All renders in StarZero Agents are produced at full resolution — matching your original source quality. You choose between a free render (with a watermark) or a paid render (no watermark, uses credits).

Free Renders (With Watermark)

• Resolution: Full -- your original source resolution
• Watermark: Yes -- a StarZero Agents watermark is included
• Credit cost: Free -- no credits used
• When to use: Previewing your edit, checking reframing, reviewing text overlay placement, iterating on your project

By default, all renders are free. Since they're at full resolution, you get an accurate picture of exactly how your final video will look -- the only difference is the watermark.

The Export Button

The Export button in the video editor is a split button with two options:

• Export -- produces a free render with a watermark. No credits used.
• Export without watermark -- deducts credits from your balance and produces a clean, watermark-free render.

Click the main part of the button for the default free export, or click the dropdown arrow to choose "Export without watermark".

Re-Rendering Without Watermark

When you're happy with a free render, you don't have to re-export the whole project to get a watermark-free copy. Underneath any free render in the chat, there's a Render without watermark button that re-runs the exact same render -- same clips, same edits, same aspect ratio -- and just removes the watermark. It deducts credits from your balance.

This is the fastest way to turn a preview you like into a final deliverable: preview for free, then one click to get the clean version.

Paid Renders (No Watermark)

• Resolution: Full -- your original source resolution
• Watermark: None
• Credit cost: Uses credits from your account balance
• When to use: Final output that you'll share, publish, or deliver

When you request a paid render, StarZero Agents will ask you to confirm before starting, so you won't accidentally spend credits.

Subscription Required for Watermark-Free Renders

Watermark-free renders are only available to users with an active subscription. If your subscription is inactive — whether expired, canceled, or not yet started — all renders will automatically include a watermark, even if you request a paid render. This ensures you can always preview your work, but you'll need an active subscription to produce clean, watermark-free output.

Recommended Workflow

The most efficient way to work in StarZero Agents:

1. Edit your project -- select clips, arrange the timeline, add text overlays, set focus hints.
2. Render for free -- this gives you a full-resolution preview with a watermark. Watch it through.
3. Make adjustments -- tweak timing, change focus hints, update text.
4. Render again -- repeat until you're happy. Free renders are unlimited.
5. Render without watermark -- your polished, watermark-free final output.

This approach saves credits and ensures your final render looks exactly the way you want.

Credits

Your StarZero Agents account has a credit balance that gets used for certain operations:

• Paid renders (without watermark) deduct credits based on the video's length and complexity.
• AI operations like analysis, search, and transcription also consume credits, which are tracked per chat session.

Checking Your Balance

Your credit balance is displayed in the interface near the chat input area. Keep an eye on it, especially before starting paid renders.

Saving Credits

• Use free renders to iterate on your edits -- they're full resolution, so you see exactly what you'll get.
• Only render without watermark when you're confident in the result.
• Combine all your changes before doing a final render, rather than rendering after every small tweak.

Tips

• There's no limit on how many free renders you can do. Use them generously.
• Free renders are at the same resolution as paid renders -- the only difference is the watermark.
• If you're unsure whether a change looks good, render it. Free renders are there for exactly this.
• Paid renders will always prompt for confirmation, so you won't accidentally use credits.
• The credit cost of a render is related to the length of the final video.
