Caption Preset Gallery

StarZero Agents includes a growing library of caption presets — each with its own visual style, animation, and personality. Instead of manually configuring individual caption properties, you browse a visual gallery and pick the look that fits your content.

How the Gallery Works

When you ask StarZero Agents to add captions, it opens the caption preset gallery. The gallery shows every available caption preset as a card with a live animated preview. The previews loop continuously so you can see exactly how the captions will look in motion — no guessing required.

Available Presets

Word Highlight

A full sentence appears on screen at a time. As the speaker says each word, that word changes color while the rest stays in your base text color. Clean, readable, and professional.

Variants: Red Flash (bold red active word), Neon Strike (vivid neon highlight).

Best for: Longer videos, interviews, tutorials, podcasts — anything where readability and context matter most.

Word Background Highlight

Also shows a full sentence, but instead of changing the word's text color, an animated colored background box slides behind the active word. Bolder and more visible, especially over busy video backgrounds.

Variants: Purple Drop (purple highlight box), Pill Light (lighter rounded pill shape), Speaker Colors (different colors per speaker).

Best for: Content with varied backgrounds, presentations, explainer videos, or when you want a more modern look.

Word by Word

One large word at a time with a pop-in animation. Each word appears individually as it's spoken, creating an energetic, attention-grabbing effect.

Variants: TikTok Bold (bright yellow with heavy stroke), Clean Shadow (soft shadow, no stroke).

Best for: Short-form social media content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts), motivational clips, fast-paced highlight videos.

Kamua

Words are revealed progressively line by line, with per-line background boxes and a smooth slide-up entrance animation. New lines push previous lines upward. A polished, editorial look.

Variants: Kamua Purple (purple active word with dark background), Speaker Colors (different highlight colors per speaker).

Best for: Multi-speaker content like podcasts and interviews, content with a polished editorial feel, longer captions where line-by-line readability helps.

Browsing the Gallery

Each card in the gallery shows:

• An animated preview — sample caption text playing in real time with the preset's styling and animation applied
• The preset name — a short descriptive name
• A description — a brief summary of the preset's visual style

Click a card to select that preset. Click it again to deselect.

Style Variants

Many presets offer multiple style variants — different visual treatments within the same overall style. For example, one variant might use a warm color palette while another uses cool tones, or one might animate faster than another.

Use the dropdown at the top of a preset card to switch between its variants. The animated preview updates instantly so you can compare.

Custom Font Preview

Want to see how presets look with your own font? Expand the Options panel at the bottom of the gallery and paste a font URL:

• A Google Fonts page URL
• A direct link to a font file (TTF, WOFF, etc.)

All preset previews update to use your custom font, making it easy to see which style works best with your typeface.

Applying a Preset

Once you've found the style you like:

1. Click the preset card to select it
2. Optionally choose a style variant from the dropdown
3. Optionally set a custom font in the Options panel
4. Click the Use button

StarZero Agents applies the preset to your project immediately. Captions appear across your entire timeline using the transcript words from your video clips.

One Preset at a Time

Your project can only have one caption preset active at a time. If you want to switch styles, just ask StarZero Agents to show the gallery again — it will replace the current preset with your new choice.

Tips

• Take your time browsing. The live previews make it easy to compare styles without committing to anything.
• Try different variants. The difference between variants within a preset can be subtle or dramatic — it's worth checking them all.
• Custom fonts are optional. Every preset looks great with its default font. Only use a custom font if you have a specific branding reason.
• You can always switch later. Changing your caption preset doesn't affect your timeline, clips, or transcript data — it only changes how the captions are displayed.
