Sound Effects

StarZero Agents can generate custom sound effects from a text description. Whether you need a dramatic whoosh for a transition, ambient rain for atmosphere, or a punchy impact for emphasis, just describe the sound and StarZero Agents will create it.

Generating Sound Effects

Describe the sound effect you need in natural language:

"Generate a sound effect of a spaceship engine powering up"

"Create the sound of gentle rain on a tin roof"

"I need a dramatic whoosh sound for transitions"

"Generate a crowd cheering sound effect, about 5 seconds long"

You can optionally specify a duration (up to 30 seconds). If you don't, the AI will choose an appropriate length based on your description.

Looping Sound Effects

Some sounds work best when they repeat seamlessly — ambient backgrounds, mechanical hums, rhythmic patterns. You can ask for a looping sound effect:

"Generate a looping ambient forest sound"

"Create a seamless looping rain sound effect"

Looping sound effects are designed so the end flows smoothly back into the beginning, making them perfect for continuous background audio.

Using Sound Effects in Your Project

Generated sound effects work just like any other audio clip:

  • Position them precisely on the timeline to sync with visual moments
  • Adjust volume to blend naturally with other audio
  • Layer them with music and dialogue for a richer sound mix
  • Trim them if you only need a portion

Tips for Good Results

  • Be descriptive — "metallic clang echoing in a large hall" works better than just "clang"
  • Mention the context — "whoosh for a fast camera pan" helps the AI understand what you need
  • Specify duration when it matters — transitions might need 1-2 seconds, while ambient sounds might need 10-15 seconds
  • Use looping for ambient or background sounds that need to play continuously

Great Uses for Sound Effects

  • Transitions — whooshes, swooshes, and risers between scenes
  • Emphasis — impacts, booms, and stingers to punctuate key moments
  • Atmosphere — rain, wind, city noise, crowd ambiance
  • UI and motion graphics — clicks, pops, and tones for on-screen elements
  • Comedy and storytelling — cartoon effects, dramatic reveals, record scratches
