Downloading Videos

Once your video is rendered, downloading it to your device is straightforward.

How to Download

After rendering completes, the finished video appears directly in the chat. You'll see:

  • A video player so you can watch the result right away.
  • A download button to save the video file to your device.

Click the download button, and the video will be saved to your default download location (usually your Downloads folder).

Video Format

All rendered videos are delivered as MP4 files. MP4 is the most widely supported video format and works on virtually every platform, device, and video player. You can upload it directly to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, or any other platform without needing to convert it.

Download Availability

Rendered videos are stored on StarZero Agents's servers and available for download for a period after rendering. You don't need to download immediately -- you can come back to the chat later and still access your rendered video.

That said, it's a good idea to download your final renders promptly so you have a local copy.

Multiple Renders

If you render your project multiple times (different aspect ratios, different edits, or both preview and final quality), each rendered version is available separately in the chat. Scroll through the conversation to find the version you want and download it individually.

Downloading Project Files

In addition to the rendered video, you can download the project files for any render. This gives you a ZIP archive containing the timeline, clips, and assets so you can continue editing in an external tool like Premiere Pro. See Premiere Pro Export for details on the project file format.

After clicking Download project files, the file opens in a new browser tab and may take a moment to prepare. The button shows a loading indicator while the download is being generated, and it becomes available again after a short cooldown.

Refine in Editor

Every render has a Refine in editor button that opens the render in the visual timeline editor so you can keep tweaking from exactly that state. Clicking it opens a small dialog with two choices:

  • Create a new project from this render -- Starts a fresh project based on the render's timeline. Your current project is left untouched, and the new project gets a unique name derived from the render's title.
  • Override the source project -- Replaces the project the render was made from with the render's state. Useful if you rendered, later made other changes you no longer want, and want to roll back to the version you rendered. This option is disabled if the original source project no longer exists.

Either way, the editor sidepanel opens with the chosen project loaded so you can continue editing.

The dialog also shows a status message when it can't be used — for example, while the agent is processing your last request, or if the connection to the server is temporarily lost. Wait for the current operation to finish before opening a render in the editor.

Sharing Videos

You can share a rendered video directly from StarZero Agents without downloading it first. Click the Share button next to the download button beneath any rendered video. StarZero Agents generates a shareable link that anyone can use to view the video in their browser.

On mobile devices or browsers that support it, clicking Share opens your device's native share sheet so you can send the link through any app. On desktop, a share dialog appears with a QR code and the link. Scan the QR code from your phone to open the video instantly, or use the Copy button to grab the link for pasting elsewhere.

The Share button is also available on clips produced by podcast workflows, so you can share individual cutdowns directly from the results page. To share every clip from a podcast run on a single public page, use the batch Share button at the bottom of the results instead.

Shared links expire after a period, so they're best for quick reviews and collaboration rather than permanent distribution.

You can also ask the agent to generate a share link for a rendered video directly in the conversation. This is useful when you want to share a video as part of a larger task — for example, asking the agent to render a video and then provide a link you can paste into a message or post.

"Render the video and give me a share link"

"Generate a share link for the last render"

Replacing Workflow Output Videos

When a chat session was started by a workflow, each rendered video includes a Mark as final output button. This lets you replace the workflow's recorded output video with a newer render from the same session — useful when you've refined or re-rendered the video after the workflow originally finished.

Clicking the button opens a dialog listing the workflow's current output videos for the session. Select the one you want to replace, and the new video takes its place. The previous video is kept in a version history so nothing is lost.

This button only appears in sessions that were created by a workflow. In regular chat sessions, it won't be shown.

Bundling Multiple Files as a Zip

When you have several files to download — multiple renders, audio stems, data exports, or a mix — you can ask StarZero Agents to bundle them into a single zip file:

  • "Zip up all three renders and give me one download"
  • "Bundle the separated audio tracks into a zip"
  • "Create a zip with the final video and the spreadsheet from earlier"

StarZero Agents packages the files together and gives you a single download link. Zip downloads are available for 7 days.

After Downloading

Once you have the MP4 file on your device, you can:

  • Upload to social media -- Post directly to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, or any other platform.
  • Share with your team -- Send via email, Slack, Google Drive, Dropbox, or any file-sharing service.
  • Use in presentations -- Embed in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote.
  • Edit further -- Open in any video editor for additional work. Or use the Premiere Pro Export for a project file with your timeline intact.

Tips

  • Always download your high-quality final renders for safekeeping.
  • Preview renders include a watermark -- don't publish those. Use them only for review.
  • If you need the same video in multiple aspect ratios, render and download each version separately.
