Filtering and Selecting Results

Once StarZero Agents returns search results, you have full control over what happens next. You can preview clips, pick your favorites, narrow things down, or ask for something different entirely — all through natural conversation.

Reviewing Your Results

When a search is complete, StarZero Agents presents a ranked list of matching clips. Each result includes:

• A description of what's in the clip
• A looping video preview that plays automatically as you browse
• A relevance ranking, with the best matches at the top
• A download button on each clip so you can save individual results directly

When results don't all fit on screen, scroll arrows appear on either side of the list so you can navigate through them quickly.

Results can include video clips, images, audio files, and other media — StarZero Agents detects the type automatically and shows the appropriate preview for each.

Take a moment to click through the results and preview them. This is the fastest way to confirm which clips are exactly what you need.

Selecting Clips to Keep

Once you've reviewed the results, tell StarZero Agents which clips you want to use. You can do this in whatever way feels natural:

• "Use the first three clips"
• "Add clips 1, 3, and 5 to my project"
• "Keep the second and last one"
• "I like the clip of the sunset — use that one"
• "Use all of them"

StarZero Agents will remember your selections for the rest of the conversation, so you can build on them as you go.

Attaching Clips from the Search Panel

When you select clips using the search panel (the side panel), they appear as pending attachments in your message input area. You can see a visual preview of each attached clip before you send your message.

This gives you full control: review what you're about to send, remove clips you don't want, and type an accompanying message to give context. When you send, the attached clips and your text are delivered together, and the search panel closes automatically.

Narrowing Results with Follow-Up Queries

If your initial search returned too many results or wasn't quite right, you don't need to start over. Just follow up with more specific instructions:

• "From those results, show only clips longer than 10 seconds"
• "Narrow it down to just the outdoor shots"
• "Only show results from the first interview"
• "Remove any clips that don't have someone speaking"

StarZero Agents refines the results based on your feedback, saving you the trouble of running a brand-new search.

Excluding Content

You can also tell StarZero Agents to leave certain content out:

• "Search everything except @Behind-the-Scenes"
• "Find clips of the office, but not from the holiday party video"
• "Remove clip 4 from the selection"

This is useful when you know certain videos or clips aren't relevant and want to keep your results clean.

Building on Your Selections

Selected clips stay available throughout your conversation. You can:

• Add more clips later — Run additional searches and add new results to your existing selection
• Remove clips you've changed your mind about — Just tell StarZero Agents to drop them
• Reorder or rearrange — Ask StarZero Agents to change the order of your selected clips
• Use selections in a project — Once you're happy with your clips, tell StarZero Agents to assemble them into an edit, highlight reel, or any other output

Tips for Efficient Filtering

• Start broad, then narrow — It's often faster to run a wide search and then filter down than to try to write the perfect query on the first try
• Be conversational — You don't need formal commands. Talk to StarZero Agents like you'd talk to a colleague: "Actually, drop the last two and find me something more energetic"
• Combine multiple rounds — Search for one type of clip, select your favorites, then search for a different type and add those too. Build your collection piece by piece
• Check your current selection — If you lose track, just ask: "What clips do I have selected so far?" and StarZero Agents will show you
