AI Video Generation

StarZero Agents can generate video clips from text descriptions using AI. Describe a scene — the action, camera movement, style, and mood — and StarZero Agents will create a video clip (3–10 seconds) you can add to your timeline. Generated videos include AI-generated audio (dialogue, sound effects, ambient sound), so they arrive ready to use.

Generating a Video from a Prompt

Describe the scene you want:

"Generate a cinematic aerial shot flying over a misty mountain range at sunrise"

"Create a close-up of coffee being poured into a ceramic mug, warm lighting, shallow depth of field"

"Make a tracking shot following a person walking through a neon-lit city street at night"

StarZero Agents generates the video and displays a preview directly in the chat. You can play it back before deciding to add it to your project. Below the preview you'll find controls to copy the video URL or download the video file.

Tips for Good Prompts

The quality of your prompt directly affects the result. Be specific:

• Camera motion — "dolly forward", "tracking shot", "aerial", "handheld", "slow push-in"
• Style — "cinematic", "film noir", "documentary", "sci-fi", "stop motion"
• Composition — "wide shot", "close-up", "over-the-shoulder", "portrait framing"
• Lens effects — "shallow depth of field", "macro lens", "fisheye"
• Lighting and mood — "warm golden hour", "blue-toned night", "high contrast", "soft diffused"
• Subject and action — Be precise about what's happening and how it moves

Important: Avoid negative language like "no", "don't", or "without" — the AI tends to ignore negatives. Instead of "a room without furniture", say "an empty room with bare walls and hardwood floors."

Generating Video from an Image

You can provide an image as a reference, and the AI will animate it into video. This is great for bringing still images to life:

"Generate a video starting from this image" (with an image URL)

"Animate this photo — have the camera slowly push in"

"Turn this product shot into a video with a gentle rotation"

The starting image can be anything — a photo from your library, a generated image, or an extracted frame from another video. For best results, use high-resolution images and describe the motion you want in detail.

Interpolating Between Two Images

You can provide two images as references. The AI will generate a smooth video that transitions between them:

"Generate a video that starts with this image and ends with this image — create a smooth camera pan between them"

This is useful for creating transitions, time-lapses, or connecting two shots with a generated in-between. Note that the AI follows the first image more closely than the second.

Using Video References

You can pass a video as a reference alongside your prompt. The AI uses the video for context — to match its style, replicate its motion, or serve as the basis for an edit:

"Generate a video in the same visual style as this clip"

"Restyle this video as a stop-motion collage"

You can also reference videos from your content library directly:

"Take that intro clip from my library and restyle it as a retro commercial"

Editing a Generated Video

After generating a video, you can refine it through follow-up edits. The AI remembers context from prior turns, so you only need to describe what to change:

"Change the lighting to golden hour"

"Add falling snow to that video"

"Make the camera zoom in more slowly"

Each edit builds on the previous version. This is much faster than regenerating from scratch when you're close to what you want but need adjustments.

Creating Longer Videos

Each generation produces a clip of 3–10 seconds (8 seconds by default). To create longer continuous shots, generate sequentially — StarZero Agents can extract the last frame from one generated clip and use it as the first frame of the next, maintaining visual continuity:

"Generate a clip of a spaceship approaching a planet"

"Now continue that shot — extend it by generating another clip starting from the last frame"

StarZero Agents handles the frame extraction and chaining automatically.

Using References for Consistency

When generating multiple independent shots that need to look consistent (same character, same style, same setting), provide reference images or videos:

"Generate a wide shot of this character walking through a park" (with a character reference image)

"Create a shot in the same visual style as these references" (with style reference images)

You can provide up to 10 references per generation, mixing images and videos. When using multiple references, refer to them by position in your prompt — for example, "animate the first image" or "use the style from the second reference."

Controlling Audio

Generated videos always include audio. You control what the audio sounds like through your prompt:

• Dialogue — Use quotation marks: "The character says 'That's incredible'"
• Sound effects — Describe them explicitly: "tires screeching, glass shattering"
• Ambient sound — Describe the environment: "quiet forest with birds chirping"

When adding a generated clip to your project, decide whether to keep the audio based on how you're using the clip:

• Keep audio when characters speak, when sound effects add value, or when ambient sound enhances the scene
• Mute audio when the clip is purely visual (b-roll, transitions) or when you'll add your own voiceover or music

Creative Modes

Beyond basic text-to-video and image-to-video, StarZero Agents has specialized prompting techniques for more ambitious projects:

• Restyling — Transform existing footage into a motion-graphics or collage-style reel. The AI can switch the visual look at each beat of your video, or hold one consistent style throughout. Great for turning talking-head clips into viral social content.

• Script-to-video — Provide a script and a reference video whose style you want to match. StarZero Agents breaks the script into scenes and generates footage for each one in the reference's style.

• From stills — Generate still images first, then animate them. Useful for intro cards, b-roll cutaways, logo animations, and other shots that don't need live footage behind them.
